Our manual garage door broke and needed the components replaced (spring, cables, drums, tracks, etc). A different much larger company quoted me first at almost $2,000! For a MANUAL garage door. When I turned down the work, they were visibly annoyed and very rude to me, and tried to charge me $168 for cutting my cables(without notifying me before cutting them) and closing it. There was no reason for him to cut my cables since he had already aligned it back on the track, essentially fixing it. After they left I immediately called Direct Service Overhead. The woman I spoke to was very friendly and validating to the experience I had just had with the other company. She knew exactly who the company was without me mentioning the name, which is telling. She scheduled a technician to come to my house the following day for a free quote (the quote from the other company was not free). It was $799+tax to replace everything that needed to be replaced and it came with a 5yr warranty, saving me over $1000. My technician was Parnell. He was very friendly, professional, and got the job done quickly. After a few weeks of occasional use the door was no longer staying up when we’d open it so I called Direct Service Overhead. They sent Parnell back over here the following morning at no charge to me. After a 5 minute quick adjustment the door is back to working perfectly. I highly recommend Direct Service Overhead for any garage door needs, as it is clear they prioritize integrity and customer service over profit.

I had some of the craziest things going on with my garage door. Open with remote but have to close by bypassing sensors. Sensors would not light so figured they were my issue. I was only part right. There were many issues and they were diagnosed some repaired but now I can use my remotes and interior button without climbing on a ladder. All the parts adjusted to work correctly. Some great advise on how to make the annoying squeak go away. Need an electrician to rewire the sensors but very happy with the service. Considering everything, the work he did really was worth the $240. Fast response, same day, very knowledgeable service, and willing to explain everything. Highly recommend this company. I would mention the tech but I forgot his name typing this up.

Excellent and fast service. My garage door cable came off of the pully and was jammed. Half up and half down. Got online and scheduled an appointment for same day service. Within an hour or so they arrived at my business, told me what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it. Within about 15 minutes the gentleman had the door fixed and fully operational. I also appreciated the email with the photo of the technician that was coming. Not such a big deal in business but I can see how that would be comforting if they were coming to you home. David was very professional and personable. His customer service skills are spot on. I would highly recommend Direct Service and David for any of your garage door servicing needs. both in business or home.

My garage door was not closing and after trying to fix it myself, I gave up and called Direct Service. It was around 7pm when I called and David arrived at my house a little past 8pm. When I attempted to show him that the garage door wasn't working, it started working! Shaking my head and apologizing to him, I reassured him that it definitely was not closing before. He tested a few things to make sure that it was working properly. He was at my house for about 15 minutes. He checked the motor and sensors as well. Afterwards, I was prepared to pay for his time there. He told me that he wasn't going to charge me because he didn't have to fix anything! I was shocked. David was very professional and friendly. I am happy with the service I got!

They make the entire process so easy. Parnell did my service call & estimate. He is very knowledgeable, made sure all my questions were answered and I was prepared for when I actually needed to have the work done. Couple months later my door went out. I called, they got me scheduled the same week. Travis, the owner came and did a complete door overhaul. I can't express how happy I am with the job he did. Extremely knowledgeable & kind, answered all my questions, showed me around my new system & programmed the opener in my car! My new system is up to date & so freakin quiet. The Springs on my garage door went out on Sunday morning. I was right in the middle of moving furniture out of the garage into a storage unit when it broke. My usual garage door company was not available and I tried 3 other companies before I got a hold of Direct Service Overhead Garage. They gave me a 4pm apt but ended up coming a couple hours earlier than planned, which was great! The service person - Ed was prompt, friendly and courteous. He immediately identified the problem and explained the repairs. Had it back and running in plenty of time for me to finish the move. Would definitely recommend and plan on using them in the future for any garage door repairs.
