A Tour to Bryce Davis Park, AR

Established during 1988 in Fayetteville Arkansas, the Bryce Davis Park was the first park that was created in the city from Park Land Dedication Ordinance. You can fidn this 26-acre park on Dartmouth Avenue, Fayetteville, AR. An expansion and renovation in 2008 have upgraded this park and it increased its 9.2-acres size to 26-acres. After two years, they have added a dog park that measures 3 acres.

History

Originally, Davis Park measures 9.2 acres. This park was named after its developer and owner, Bryce Davis. In 2008, they renovated the playground of the park and added a half basketball court. The Park Land Dedication Ordinance gave the city an additional land during the summer of 2008 with the aim of expanding the park to around 26 acres.

Aside from the park’s existing basketball courts and play equipment, the park now has extra picnic areas, restroom facilities, and a dog park measuring 3-acres with picnic tables, drinking fountain, benches, and a pavilion. Also, a fishing pier includes in the future phases of this park’s development.
