Automatically Collected Information: When you visit our website, we may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed and time spent on pages, device identifiers, and general geographic location. This information is collected through cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies.

Third-Party Sources: We may receive information about you from third-party platforms including Google (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile), ServiceTitan (our field service management platform), Synchrony Financial (our financing partner), and social media platforms where you interact with our content.

We use the information we collect to schedule and provide garage door repair, installation, and maintenance services; communicate with you about appointments, estimates, and follow-ups; process payments and financing applications through Synchrony Financial; send service reminders, maintenance recommendations, and promotional offers (you may opt out at any time); improve our website, services, and customer experience; respond to your inquiries and provide customer support; comply with legal obligations and protect our rights; and analyze website traffic and advertising effectiveness.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with ServiceTitan (our field service management and scheduling platform), Synchrony Financial (when you apply for financing), Google (for advertising and analytics purposes), payment processors to complete transactions, and service providers who assist with our marketing, website hosting, and business operations. We may also disclose your information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

5. SMS / Text Message Communications

Opt-In and Consent. By submitting your phone number through any form on directserviceoverhead.com (including our online booking widget, contact forms, and quote request forms), or by providing your phone number when scheduling service by phone, you expressly consent to receive SMS (text message) communications from Direct Service Garage Doors related to your service appointments and account.

Types of Messages. The text messages you may receive include: appointment confirmations, technician dispatch notifications with estimated arrival time and technician profile, "on the way" alerts, scheduling changes, service completion receipts and invoices, payment confirmations, post-service review requests, follow-up messages on pending estimates, and seasonal maintenance reminders.

Message Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your service activity. You will typically receive between 2 and 8 messages per service appointment.

Message and Data Rates. Standard message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier's plan. Direct Service Garage Doors does not charge for the messages we send, but your carrier may.

Carriers. Carriers (including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No Sharing of Mobile Information. Information sharing to subcontractors supporting our text messaging program (such as our SMS platform provider, Twilio Inc.) is permitted strictly for the purpose of delivering the service notifications you have consented to receive. All other categories described in Section 4 of this Privacy Policy exclude mobile opt-in data.

Privacy of SMS Data. The phone numbers, opt-in status, and message content associated with our SMS program are stored securely and used only for the purposes described in this section. We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer SMS opt-in data to any third party for any purpose.
