SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the text-message notification program operated by Direct Service Overhead, LLC d/b/a Direct Service Garage Doors ("we," "our," "us"). By providing your phone number to us, you agree to these terms in addition to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Program Description

Direct Service Garage Doors operates a transactional SMS notification program that delivers service-related text messages to customers who have provided their phone number for service scheduling and account communication. The program covers customers in our Central Arkansas service area, including Little Rock, North Little Rock, Conway, Maumelle, Benton, Bryant, Sherwood, Cabot, Jacksonville, Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, Vilonia, and surrounding communities.

2. Types of Messages You'll Receive

If you opt in, you may receive any of the following message types from us:

  • Appointment confirmations after you book a service
  • Technician dispatch alerts with technician name, photo, and estimated arrival time
  • "On the way" notifications when your technician departs
  • Scheduling change notifications
  • Service completion confirmations with itemized receipts and invoices
  • Payment confirmation messages
  • Post-service review and feedback requests
  • Follow-up messages on pending estimates or quotes
  • Seasonal maintenance reminders for existing customers

3. How You Opt In

You opt in to receive SMS messages from Direct Service Garage Doors by taking any of the following actions:

  • Online Booking Widget: Submitting your phone number through the ServiceTitan-powered online booking widget on directserviceoverhead.com (accessible via the "Book Online" button)
  • Contact Forms: Submitting your phone number through any contact, quote request, or estimate request form on our website
  • Phone Calls: Providing your mobile phone number to one of our customer service representatives during a phone call to (501) 244-3667
  • In-Person: Providing your mobile phone number to a technician during an in-person service call

In each case, the form, call script, or technician interaction includes clear notice that the phone number you provide will be used to send service-related text messages and that you may opt out at any time. By providing your phone number through any of these methods, you confirm that you are the account holder of the phone number provided (or have authorization from the account holder), are at least 18 years of age, and agree to receive SMS messages described in these Terms.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Most customers receive between 2 and 8 messages per service appointment. We do not send messages on a recurring schedule unrelated to active service. If you have no active service, you will typically receive no messages.

5. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier's plan. Direct Service Garage Doors does not charge a fee to send these messages, but charges from your mobile carrier may apply. Check with your carrier for details on your messaging plan.

6. Supported Carriers

Major U.S. carriers are supported, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and Virgin Mobile. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is not guaranteed and can be affected by carrier issues, network congestion, device settings, and other factors outside our control.

7. How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message you receive from us.

You'll receive one final confirmation message and no further texts.

Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for assistance.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time and at no cost by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After replying STOP, we will send you one final message confirming your opt-out, after which you will receive no further automated messages from our SMS program.

If you wish to resume messages after opting out, reply START to any prior message thread, or contact us directly to opt back in. If you need help with the SMS program, reply HELP to any message, call us at (501) 244-3667, or visit us at 10515 W Markham St Suite I5, Little Rock, AR 72205.

Opting out of SMS messages does not opt you out of other forms of communication (phone calls, email). To opt out of all marketing communications, please contact us directly.

8. Privacy & Data Sharing

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data collected by Direct Service Garage Doors will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer your SMS opt-in data to any third party for any purpose.

Information sharing with subcontractors that support our SMS program (including our SMS platform provider, Twilio Inc.) is limited strictly to the purpose of delivering the service notifications you have consented to receive. These subcontractors are contractually bound to use this information only for the purpose of providing the SMS service and are prohibited from using it for any marketing purpose.

9. Eligibility

To enroll in our SMS program, you must be at least 18 years of age and either the account holder of the mobile phone number you provide or have authorization from the account holder. By providing your phone number, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

10. Errors, Discrepancies, and Disputes

If you experience problems with our SMS program, believe you are receiving messages in error, or want to dispute any aspect of the service, please contact us immediately at (501) 244-3667 or in person at 10515 W Markham St Suite I5, Little Rock, AR 72205. We will work in good faith to resolve any concerns.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue our SMS program at any time without notice. Material changes to these Terms will be posted to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
